Spot has now lived half of her life with one eye. That was the last major health issue she’s had in a decade. She’s struggling these days due to kidney issues, but she’s still right beside me and sleeping like a baby.

I learned a new word today: enucleation. Spot, my ten-year-old cat, will be going through it sometime in the next couple days. Right now she is heavily medicated and talking to herself. I’m so glad she has no idea what’s coming.
