Andy Warhol once famously said that in the future everyone will get 15 minutes of fame. Well, we’ve moved well beyond that to the point where most people get 15 seconds. I had my first 15 seconds of fame several years ago. And today I experienced fifteen more seconds, though only on the local news even. I realize the word “fame” doesn’t really apply, but whatever. The thing is, I shouldn’t have been there. I was just standing in line for my boss (who was paying me to be there), but I didn’t want to look like a douche when the camera man came up to me. So, what you see is me pretending to have been frustrated…and that’s the bit that they quoted.
