I adopted the name Metzae because it was the first name online that never seemed to need any special characters. That was in the mid-90′s when the internet was still mostly a novelty. Then, in July of 2000 I created Metzae.net, which pretty much solidified my screen name. Since then I have had this need (obsession? compulsion?) to connect to every website and social network I can under that name. Partly because I want to grab the name Metzae, but mostly because I’m a web geek and that’s kind of my job…kind of.
